Nicely located beer garden in the middle of the forest! Perfect as a destination for a hike or bike ride ... Great seating under trees and next to a train line where a train always comes by (what a train fanatic!). Food has beer garden quality at increased prices (Jägerschnitzel with French fries for 19.90 € is not really justified ..). Has anyone ever had goulash on fries ..? if not: just give it a try ... Will definitely come again ...

Luckily I found this beer garden! Super nice place to stay. Food was quickly at the table, delicious! The food was still nice and warm and I can't fault it in terms of quality! Very quiet, except for the train, but that doesn't matter at all. All the better, you can also get there by public transport, but also by car. Staff very friendly. The price may seem high at first glance, but the beer garden has to cover personnel costs, material costs, etc., so the price is completely okay in my opinion.

Great beer garden, but unfortunately very unfriendly staff at the food and drink stand. Prices a bit high but still okay. We had a lot of wasps, so we couldn't enjoy our drinks (which the owner cannot help with, of course). Be careful as an allergy sufferer! Edit after the answer: It's a shame that you took my criticism so wrongly. I have not complained about the corona measures that are rightly being enforced on you. I only criticized the unfriendly staff, which I would like to mention again specifically: After a child ordered "woodruff" at the next table and it turned out that there was alcohol in it, the mother asked you about it. This was received very blankly at the counter, just unfriendly. Then I asked when ordering whether you could squirt the mayo next to the fries or on the edge. The answer was "The mayo comes in the middle that fits". Before I could answer, they turned away. The mayo came clapped in the middle of it, of course. I say again that your beer garden is very nice and the food was great, but the staff was unfriendly and that's why there is a 2 star deduction.

Very nice location in a nice ambience. Unusually beautiful for a beer garden. The different seating options are particularly great. Hollywood swings, benches or armchairs. The food is delicious and the service fast and friendly. Small deduction, as the portions are very large and hardly manageable for one person. The prices are accordingly. Maybe you can make the portions smaller so that you don't have to throw away so much ?!

Stayed here about 2 weeks ago after a short hike around the nearby lakes. Very attractive and beautifully located beer garden, just the right thing for a refreshment or refreshment after a short hike or a bike tour. What you saw, what was brought to the table, looked very promising. The fifth star is when I was able to convince myself of the food. We'll be back and also a clear recommendation from us ....

Great beer garden, very tasty food, great beer (angel!) And the boss is funny too. What more do you want. The best beer garden in the Cologne area in my opinion. And after dinner you can jump straight into the Liblarer See :)

Nice beer garden in the forest, so that it always stays pleasantly airy and cool. But it seems a bit old, and the offer is more of a standard snack level.

Super relaxed with great food (had a hammer steak) - what more do you need? Have come here after a big round around the numerous lakes, that was a wonderful conclusion. Highly recommended 🤗

Unique and beautiful place with great food, maybe a bit overpriced

Very nice, cozy. The regional express that whizzes past every half an hour is also not disturbing. The food is well prepared and served appropriately .... thumbs up. Unfortunately no wine glasses or carafes, wine is served in a beer mug 🤷‍♂️ point deduction, ☝️ But it is inviting and recommendable !!!

We went cycling with friends this morning. It is a totally idyllic place. In the middle of the woods. Very lovingly laid out. A place to linger and feel good. Small minus point - not cheap for families with children ... but quite tasty 😋

Delicious beer, delicious food, cozy atmosphere. Every now and then the train stops by. Therefore it is also easy to reach by bus and train. Were there today because of goulash with chips. 😁

We are always happy when we arrive by bike. Good and nice service and cold beer. The small dishes are so huge that we can cycle home full of paper

Slightly overrated for the beers on offer but a very nice place when it comes to the ambience.

The best thing about this place is location: right next to the beautiful trails around surrounding lakes. Radler is a little pricey at €4.50, food didn't look inexpensive either

A slightly different beer garden. Meanwhile, with some pavilions against the rain, yesterday but also useful against stinging sun. The small card of the week is enough, the portions are ok. Baked potato, Currywurstpfanne, hip steak (very good medium rare) and crispy hunter schnitzel all very delicious. Not cheap the whole, 4 people with 7 drinks paid close to a hundred euros - but good quality.

Cozy beer garden with delicious food and beer, very friendly service. You get drink at the counter and the food is brought to the table. My Engelspfanne tasted very good. Various beers of light, dark, cloudy, with aroma and alcohol-free all there. I will definitely not have visited this beer garden for the last time. The next bike tour with Stop here is firmly scheduled.
